This sudden surfeit of Javed Akhtar poetry is due to
the fact that I am in the midst of reading Tarkash. Plus,
I finally gave in and bought Silsilay. For good measure, 
I have also been listening to Sangam - the Nusrat Fateh
Ali Khan-Javed Akhtar album. So now you know. :-)

Anyway, here is a nazm from Silsilay. It is titled 
"Kabhi Yuun Bhi To Ho"

dariyaa kaa saahil ho
puure chaa.Nd kii raat ho
