yuu.N terii nigaaho.n se gilaa kuch bhii nahii.n thaa
is dil ne to bekaar yuu.N hii baiThe biThaaye
viiraanii-e-lamhaat ko bahalaane kii Khaatir
afsaane ga.Dhe baate.n banaa lii thii.n hazaaro.n
ye ishq kaa afsaanaa jo phir chhe.Daa hai tuu ne
bekaar hai ab vaqt kahaa.N us ko sunuu.N mai.n
jab tum ko faraaGat na thii ab mujh ko nahii.n hai

[faraaGat (fursat) = free/leisure time; gilaa = complaint]
[viiraanii-e-lamhaat = emptiness/loneliness of the moment]
[afsaanaa = tale/story; ga.Dhe = create]
